Sectors
A pallet of cosmetics and a press line have almost nothing in common except the ship. These are the kinds of freight we handle most, and what usually matters in each.
Season and promotion dates drive everything. We work backwards from the on shelf date, flag a missed sailing early, and consolidate several suppliers into one box where that saves a week and a margin.
Weight, dimensions and securing decide the routing. We check the equipment fits before quoting it, and treat anything over gauge as a project rather than a booking.
Temperature settings, ventilation and free time at destination. Reefer bookings carry the setpoint in writing, and clearance is prepared before arrival so the box is not sitting on power.
Correct classification, packing and declarations under IMDG and IATA. We would rather spend an hour on the paperwork than have the cargo rolled at the terminal.
Line stoppages cost more than air freight. We keep the ocean programme running and have an express option ready for the parts that cannot wait for it.
Groupage, part loads and a single pallet when that is all there is. Duty and VAT explained up front so the landed cost is right on the first order, not the third.
Trades
We are not going to claim an office in every port. We quote these trades daily; elsewhere we will say honestly whether we are the right forwarder for the lane.
China, Vietnam, Korea and Taiwan into the United Kingdom and the continent, by sea, air and rail.
India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, deepsea and consolidations, with textile and industrial cargo in mind.
Gulf ports and Turkish trades, sea and road, including project moves into construction sites.
Intra-European road and short sea, and the North American trades in both directions.
If it is one we run every week you will have a price today. If it is not, we will say so.
