This notice explains what we do with personal data when you use this website or ask us to handle a shipment.

The quote form on this site does not post anywhere. It opens your own email programme, so the details reach us as an ordinary email.
To quote for work, to carry out the transport and customs services you ask for, and to meet the record keeping obligations that come with them. Customs and commercial records are kept for the periods required by law and by HMRC. Enquiries that do not become business are deleted within two years.
Only where the shipment requires it: carriers, airlines, hauliers, agents at origin and destination, terminals, customs authorities, and insurers where cover is arranged. We also use service providers for hosting, email and IT. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Freight moves internationally, so shipment data reaches agents and authorities outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on the transfer safeguards permitted under UK data protection law.
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no tracking. Our content delivery network may set a strictly necessary cookie for security and performance.
You may ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing. Write to hello@wemelogistics.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
